Here at whychurchtoday.com, we seek to challenge each generation to consider the teachings of Jesus Christ and the early apostles with regard to the importance of the local New Testament church and the responsibility of every Christian to be actively engaged in a local, visible and physical called out assembly.
PHILOSOPHY
A call to fidelity to the Lord Jesus Christ, the Bible, and the biblical New Testament Church is a must for every maturing Christian. The New Testament Church was vitally important to Jesus Christ; if I am a follower of Jesus Christ, then the New Testament Church must be vitally important to me. Jesus stated, “…I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matt. 16:18b). Paul explains the intimate relationship with a husband and wife as like the relationship of the Lord and His church, “even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it” (Eph. 5:25b).
